Another set of forks tonight. If what's in that box in the workshop is what it's meant to be SID 120mms with a 15mm thru axle. Not tried the long SIDs before but the 100mm ones are pretty stiff so with a screw thru axle they should be fine. Big double loop with loads of climbing and one rocky, twisty descent and one big flat out mine road sweeper descent to finish. Couple of stream crossings too which won't be so bad now it's positively tropical out there.
That'll be another one down from the full 34 strong fork count for MBUK and What MTB that needs finishing by this time next month. Luckily a lot of them crop up on the 18 £2500 trail bikes I've got to get done this month for What MTB too so that saves me some spannering. Lucky as I've also got a bunch of road bikes to hammer too. In fact trying to prove a new Boardman aero bike really does help at high speeds is why my legs are howling this morning.
Actually having listed this lot I'd best stop blogging and getting riding again!
I'll try and let you know first impressions about those SIDs ASAP though.
