If you go down to the woods today, you're sure of a big SRAMprise. Well you are if you go down to one of the trail centres this week, because the SRAM/Rock Shox/Avid/Truvativ demo truck is tucked away in a corner of a certain car park hosting a show and tell of 2010 kit to magazine testers and other media.
Turns out Elmar and the crew were so stoked with the riding when they visited last year, coming back to repeat their week of riding trials on stuff like the new lightweight Elixir brake and 150mm Revelation fork was an absolute no brainer. They've even managed to get superb weather again this year!
As we've said before, the Welsh trails are no strangers to prototype bikes and test sessions from loads of mountain bike manufacturers. We know for a fact that Marin/Whyte were up at Cwm Carn again last week, and MBR decided their ultimate trail bike test again there this year too.
So whether you're trying something new yourself of just enjoying the trails on an old favourite, keep your eyes peeled for a glimpse of the future flashing past.
