"Designed as a super challenging XC trail for skilled singletrack lovers, White’s is all about snaking climbs tight tree sections and the rocky drops of the final ‘Darkside’ descent. Big bike riders now get an optional black run descent as reward for slogging (or uplifting) to the top of ‘Windy Point’ too."

Red Trail Grade (Difficult)
This is the most technical of all the trails in Afan Forest Park and is 90% purpose-built singletrack.
A 6km sheep-track climb gives fantastic views of the Afan Valley, extreme exposure on tight singletrack means ultimate thrills and long, demanding descents with rocky steps to negotiate, all leading to one outrageous trail.

If you are up for it try out the optional new Black Run, graded black/severe!

Trail Reviews:

"Very, very good, the most technical man made track I have ever ridden. The climb is single track all the way up and the descent is amazing. The new board walk sections are also very good." Sam from Cardiff

"The first 6-9km is a technical rocky climb, as opposed to a boring fire road & keeps you on your toes. The descent is fast steep & rocky. Their are 2 boardwalk sections on this trail, the 1st part is pretty straightforward but the 2nd part which comes about 4 km's later (I think) is more technical with switch backs, sharper & higher bermed corners.

There’s 1 part & you'll know when u come across it that made me stop & really look for the best line (made it on the 3rd attempt) It's very steep, sandy, rocky & cambered descent as well as big rock steps with a drop on the side, be careful!" - Weekend Warrior from Sutton Coldfield
