The Mountain Biking Centre at Coed Llandegla Forest opened in 2005 and has already proved to be extremely popular with mountain bikers from across North Wales. Covering 650 hectares, Coed Llandegla Forest is one of the largest
privately-owned recreation facilities in North Wales. It is owned and
managed by UPM Tilhill.
The forest has mountain biking trails suitable for beginners and family groups, more challenging routes for experienced bikers including a rollercoaster black run, a pump track, skills area and free ride area. All tracks are completely enclosed within the forest, with no main roads to cross.
The trails at Coed Llandegla are constantly being developed with more and more single track being built. There are a number of optional loops such as 'Parallel Universe' which incorporates steep downhills and a wild series of table top jumps.
