Coed Llandegla trails now open
Updated: All trails are now cleared of tree and open too!
Hot chocolate and bacon butties are go, but the trails aren't yet.
Having been shut right through the Christmas period, the excellent visitor centre at Llandegla finally saw eough of a thaw to open last weekend and it's staying open now too. That means a wintery warm welcome, all the usual fine food and the bike shop are in business.
Unfortunately the amount of snow and temperatures as low as minus 20 has caused a lot of damage in the forest. Although chainsaw teams are out there right now trying to clear the trails that means they're not open yet and aren't likely to be this week.
