Coed y Brenin shut by snow and ice
If you're thinking of heading to Coed y Brenin, don't! We've just had word from local MTB Ranger that weather and ground conditions there are so treacherous that they've had to shut the visitor centre and car park and it's unlikely to get better until next week.
With snow turning to ice and the wind threatening to pick up we'd also advise serious caution trying to get to any of the other sites or making any non essential journeys.
Stay safe, the trails will still be there when the snow has gone!
