Get yer legs shaved, race season starts this weekend
Crikey, the cyclocross season has only just turned it`s last muddy tub and we`re already into the Welsh XC series.
Pre entires are already closed for Sunday 17th Feb, but you can turn up to Coed y Brenin this weekend for entry on the day between 9 and 11:30 (10:45 for under 12s). There`s a full range of categories from U12 to Grand Vet, with distances from 5 lap Elite cat to single lap female fun. Whichever you race it`s a fanstastic course (based on the old Red Bull loop) that`s well worth turning up and riding, especially as you`re pretty much guaranteed no wobblers or impromptu picnic parties in the way.
So forget all your excuses about not having started training properly yet and give your lungs and arteries the first good fire through of the season on one of the best courses you`ll race all year.
