Wall, Beast and MBR trails re open this weekend
Get yourself to Coed y Brenin and Afan Argoed right now to check out the latest upgraded trails in Wales.
First up Andy Braund the ranger at CyB tells us: "The felling has finished on'Abel' the trail is now clear and repairs have been done, so we can nowopen the MBR and The Beast for the weekend. However there will be a diversion around 'Falseteeth' as it's stillbeing rebuilt. The build is looking good and hopefully we'll have thatopen for Easter. The diversion will add in some extra existingsingletrack sections, so when riding either the Beast or MBR, youcertainly won't be missing out."
Then Carl Denham in the south contacted us to say: "The Wall will reopen saturday 20th March however there will be a diversion around Tramway and Nantybar for at least one more week as machine work is on going to recify a landslip on the trail in Tramway section. Please can all riders follow the diversion signs after Rhiwcregan and rejoin the main trail at Piccadily."
The other trails are all in superb condition too after a long spell of cracking weather dried out all the winter wet and snow related mud. Plus if you do get yourself out there this weekend and bag yourself some totally fresh riding, let us know what you think of the new sections so we can feed the info back to the builders and send us some pics for the gallery too.
