Race Coed Y Brenin for charity this weekend
Ruthin Rotary club are hosting a multi lap 'challenge' race at Coed y Brenin this weekend (11th October).
The Challenge course the majority of the Tarw trail (the old Red Bull trail on the far side of the road from the new visitor centre) to create a tough, technical 15km lap. Teams of four will do a lap each (60km overall), while solo riders have to complete 3 laps (45km overall). Timing will be electronically chipped, so you'll be able to see where all your mates came whether they're in your team or not making it a great one for deciding who's really finishing summer as the fastest in your pack.
Entry fees are 80 and 25 pounds respectively, with all profits going straight to the Rotary Clubs chosen charities - including projects near Ruthin and some in Uganda. Postal pre entry, or weekend/pre race entry at the visitor centre this weekend are all available.
