Trans-Cambrian Adventure – A guided mountain bike tour across Wales.
Oyster Active, the specialists in Welsh mountain biking courses, breaks and holidays are pleased to announce their new Trans-Cambrian Adventure.
This is a 4-day off-road ride across the wild and remote Cambrian Mountains of Wales. The IMBA Trans-Cambrian route is 100 miles long with a total of 12,000 feet of climbing in some of the least visited mountains in the UK. The route is 65% off-road and Oyster Active break it down into roughly 30 miles each day with a shorter final day to allow for transfer back to the start point.
The tour is fully guided and luggage is transported in the support vehicle which will meet the group at strategic points for water refills or an onward lift if anyone needs it. Guests stay in handpicked B&Bs and hotels where hearty meals are abundant.
The Trans-Cambrian Adventure is an exciting, beautiful and challenging experience achievable by regular mountain bikers looking to ride in wonderful wilderness areas far from the crowds. The dates for this tour are 26th to 29th June and the price starts from £435 per person.
