Mach 1 is a 'great starting point - get a taste of what is on offer'. This route takes you South West out of Machynlleth to the neighbouring village of Derwenlas and along the picturesque Llyfnant Valley. The route returns via the highest point of Bryn Coch Bach, the point where Mach 1, 2 and 3 meet, with a screaming descent back down to Machynlleth.
