Forestry Commission Wales' mountain bike Mecca, Coed-y-Brenin forest is home to an ever increasing network of fantastic handbuilt all weather singletrack including the newly refurbished 'Falseteeth' incorporating the biggest feature in the forest, 'The Cavity' drop in and get spat out over the exit with as much style as you can muster! The technical roller coaster riding will have you grinning like a fool, with stunning mountain views of surrounding Snowdonia that'll take your breath away

Coed y Brenin was the first forest to be developed for the sport of mountain biking and to this day retains its reputation as the sports premier location. A range of routes suitable for everyone from families nd novices (Yr Afon) to rocky technical trails for expert riders radiate out from our stunning state of the art eco visitor centre. The trail network is constantly being expanded and improved too, with the new "Cavity" section of 'False Teeth' adding a jaw dropping technical challenge this summer.
Be sure to take in the breathtaking scenery, with views across to Cadair Idris, glaciated valleys, wild untamed rivers, an expanse of forest and all in the heart of Snowdonia National Park.

The purpose-built visitor centre offers hot drinks, snacks, main meals, bike hire and a fully equipped shop. Be sure to visit, we promise you’ll want to return!

New skills area at Coed y Brenin. To be completed in 2013.  You will be able to try out and improve your bike handling skills on a variety of technical trail features. Features will be clearly graded so you can decide which grade is right for you.

Summer time: 9.30am - 5.00pm every day
Winter time: 9.30am - 4.30pm from Monday to Friday & 9.30am - 5.00pm Saturdays and Sundays.

The Bike Shop, Beics Brenin is open 7 days a week from Easter until end of October.  And open 5 days (Closed Tuesday/Wednesday) 10am-4.30pm throught the winter months.
