New MTB Ranger for South Wales
Just in from Forestry is the news that Carl Denham is the new MTB Ranger for the south of Wales.
If you don't recognise the name straight away he's one half of the Carl and Ivy team who run the excellent Brechfa Enduro and have been working with the existing Forestry Team in South West Wales for ages. That means Carl should be an ideal bloke to get the most popular trails in Wales running even better. We're also impressed that when we tried to contact him to get the low down on what he'll be doing, he'd forced himself out onto the trails to spend all day riding and assessing what needs to be done first!
Anyway we'll catch up with him as soon as he can't handle the summer storms any more (or he misses Ivy's cake too much). For now though congratulations to Carl from us and look out for him hammering the singletrack in a new professional capacity and let him know what you think needs to be done.
