Only a month to the Kona Mash Up
Seems ages ago we announced a winter edition of the Kona Mash Up, but now it's only a month away, with Santa hot on it's heels.
If you've done the Mash up before then you know the format and probably already have tickets because it's ace. If you don't then basically it's a series of timed stages up and down the best bits of the excellent White's Level and July trails at Glyncorrwg. You can either choose to be timed on both the up and down bits and qualify for the 'Endurance' category or just the singletrack and downhill bits for the 'Technical' category. Once you've got your chip you can have as many goes as weather and light will let you too, so you can chase a better time all day. On the other hand you can just chill out and watch others leather themselves for a bit before having another go.
There are loads of prizes down to 5th position in each category/age group etc. and there's a big feed and after race party at the Drop Off cafe afterwards too. This makes it a fantastic day of riding and a great way to finally settle who's fastest out of you and your mates too.
