A short route, which meanders through the forest and is perfect for young families, with ample parking and toilet facilities at the start point. This area of Clocaenog forest is one of the last places in Wales to spot the rare Red Squirrel and is popular with many other animals and birds such as the otter, green finch and woodpecker. A really pleasant area of Clocaenog forest, and a the lake is a lovely location to enjoy a picnic after your bike ride.
