What will you be doing on Saturday 14 September?

We know what downhill legend and all round great guy Steve Peat will be doing.  He will be at Antur Stiniog Bike Park along with 200 other mountain bikers for the launch of Antur’s new trails and jump line.

Peaty will be cutting the ribbon at 12.45pm before leading a mass start ‘fun’ race down the new red line.  It’s going to be a day of riding, music, food and beer to officially open the centre’s new trails.

There are 4 new trails and a new jump line adding 4.5km to the 7 existing trails and offering something for all styles and riding ability including novice riders and family groups.

The new green trail will be smoother with less technical features and an easier gradient.

The 1.2km red trail that will be largely unsurfaced adding variety to the trail network and appealing to the trail and enduro bike market.

The new black trail is also unsurfaced and will link the top of the current Black Powder trail to Bendy G giving an ‘all natural’ black trail top to bottom.

And finally, an existing trail has been restructured to a new jump line with medium sized jumps, drops and flowing berms from top to bottom.
