Afan Forest Park

The Foel area will be closed for approx 3 months from Monday 11 July to allow removal of diseased pine trees. Closure signs and barriers will be in place on site warning people not to enter the live harvesting site. Anyone who ignores the signs will put themselves and contractors in danger. It could also disrupt the felling operation and result in significant delays in the re-opening of the forest.

Bydd ail gam y gwaith cwympo coed yn dechrau yn ardal y Foel ym Mharc Coedwig Afan ddydd Llun 11 Gorffennaf a bydd yn cymryd tua thri mis i’w gwblhau. Bydd rhwystrau ac arwyddion ‘ar gau’ mewn lle ar y safle yn rhybuddio pobl i beidio â mynd i mewn i’r safle cynaeafu byw. Bydd unrhyw un sy’n anwybyddu’r arwyddion yn rhoi eu hunain a contractwyr mewn perygl. Gallai hefyd darfu ar y gwaith cwympo coed ac arwain at oedi sylweddol cyn ailagor y goedwig.
