Basecamp @ The Towers is located just outside of Betws y Coed in the heart of one of the most stunning mountainous areas of the UK and within easy reach of the Gwydir Forest.
The Gwydir Mawr MTB trail (formally Marin Trail) passes just behind our grounds so you can ride door to door and the Penmachno MTB trail is only 15 minutes drive.
Basecamp @ The Towers is 5 minutes’ drive from the village of Betws y Coed that has plenty of pubs, cafes, small grocery shops and outdoor clothing shops
Set within the grounds of The Towers Active learning Centre, it has everything you need for self-catering accommodation for up to 16 people including plenty of parking.
Accommodation
Sleeping accommodation is bunk house style and split across 4 bedroom on the first floor with two toilet/ shower rooms. Two further toilets and showers are located on the ground floor.
Details of each bedroom are as follows-
Cowlyd – Two bunk beds, sleeps 4
Geirionydd – Three bunk beds, sleeps 6
Elsi – Two bunk beds, one small single bed, sleeps 5
Crafnant (small room) – One small single bed, sleeps 1
All bedding is provided, you will need to bring a towel and toiletries
